LEGISLATIVE
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Dan has been especially active in legislative efforts
affecting insurance, families, law enforcement, emergency
medical services, and most recently championed legislation
dealing with identity theft and combating the production
of methamphetamine, as we well as drug paraphernalia legislation.
BACKGROUND
AND EDUCATION
Prior to being elected State Representative, Dan was elected
as McLean County Coroner in 1992 and re-elected in 1996.
Dan received his B.A. from St. Ambrose University in Davenport,
Iowa, and his Associates Degree from Southern University
at Carbondale.
Dan and his wife, the former Teri Koch, and their two
children, Danielle and Tom, reside in Bloomington.
